For Mabel

Mabel had the loveliest black and grey fur..

When she was a tiny kitten her stripes and spots on her tummy were really strong and I'd always planned to try and do a series of paintings showing abstract versions of this.  Little did I realise I'd have such little time to do it while she was still with us.  So today, having buried her in the garden, I decided to do a quick design in my sketchbook to represent her markings
