ONE YEAR ON
Me in my studio this morning...
Exactly a year ago today I opened the doors of my new Studio Gallery in Whites Old Workshops and goodness, what a year it's been. Once the constraints of lockdown were released, the town became full to the brim with happy, liberated holidaymakers - determined to have a good time and seemingly desperate to buy original artwork!
It has been an extraordinary year and I would just like to thank everyone who came and sought me out in my new space. I've had the most wonderful conversations; I've met the most interesting and delightful people (and dogs); and managed to sell a whole load of paintings along the way. I truly am grateful, and I would also like to thank those of you who have been unable to come to St Ives, but have encouraged and followed me on my journey via the portals of my Instagram and my Facebook pages.
This week St Ives has started to buzz again all the visitors arriving for the Easter holidays and to enjoy the fabulous beaches, the quirky shops, excellent restaurants and numerous galleries and studios we have here. It could well prove to be another busy year ahead, but we are living through extraordinary times, and I just wish you all peace, good health and as much happiness as you can find.
